When I have a great idea for a recipe and it fails in testing, I despise throwing away the failure. I hate to waste all those ingredients! But these chocolate cherry brownies came about from two failed recipes with almost nothing going to waste and that makes me extra proud of these!
I cannot believe it’s already 2019. 2018 was such a great year. Like any year, it definitely had some big downs, but it also had a lot of ups. I have a lot of high hopes for 2019. It seems like as soon as January 1st hit, the stores were covered in pink and red and Valentine’s day was everywhere. And I love Valentine’s day. It’s one of my favorite holidays! But before Valentine’s day gets here, we have another exciting holiday: Super Bowl Sunday! Well, they say March comes in like a lion, and it sure does! That Nor’easter hit Boston hard. We didn’t get any snow here, but we got a lot of rain and wind and there was a lot of flooding. I finally found it. My whole entire life I did not think it was possible to make brownies from scratch that taste better than brownies from a box mix.
