Happy summer! I am so glad summer is finally here. My favorite thing about summer is the abundance of fruit. I get so burnt out on apples in the fall and winter, so when the bright, colorful fruits start popping up I get so excited. One of my favorite summer flavors is peach.
I created this cupcake a few years back for a good friend’s birthday. Her favorite beverage is a bourbon peach sweet tea (I’m from the south!) and I decided to recreate that drink as a cupcake. Continue Reading
The day before Derby is known as Oaks Day, and the Oaks race is the big race for female horses. People get all done up in lots of pink, and there’s a big fashion show, and it’s a super fun day! It was one of my favorite holiday traditions and one I try to continue with my husband and dogs each year. (Yes, my dogs get treats too!) Continue Reading
I am not a New England Patriots fan, but I live in Boston where making that statement is frowned upon. (My husband is already not happy with this post!!!) This will be my third Super Bowl since moving to Boston, and the second of those in which the Patriots are playing. So although I am not a fan, it is only right that my Super Bowl dessert is inspired by the Patriots.
