I have the hardest time deciding what the best chocolate flavor pairing is! I love coconut and chocolate, and I love fruit and chocolate, and I love caramel and chocolate, but the peanut butter and chocolate combo is a classic. There was that 80s Reese’s commercial where the guy was walking down the street eating chocolate and the girl was walking down the street eating peanut butter and they bump into each other, and boom! Chocolate peanut butter deliciousness! Such a perfect combination. My parents got me a Tasty calendar for Hanukkah which includes not only the usual holidays, but it also tells me about all those fun food holidays we see on social media! Happy 2020! I’m so glad to be back! 2019 took a lot out of me. I think last I was here, I was about to run the Boston Marathon. I can’t believe I haven’t given you a recipe since St. Patrick’s Day! I spent 2019 really focused on running, which meant posting took a back seat.

When I lived in Louisville, the St. Patrick’s Day parade was one of my favorite days of the year. Since moving to Boston, though, I have avoided the parade. I hear it gets a bit rowdy in Southie! But the chaos of the celebrations doesn’t keep me from making a delicious themed dessert every year! And you know I love a good theme! Two years ago I made this to-die-for Irish Coffee Cake with Irish whiskey, and last year I made these super fun Pots O’ Gold with Guinness. I decided to change it up again this year to make these insanely easy St. Patrick’s Day treats!
