I love Cadbury Creme Eggs. I always have. I don’t know why I never learned how to make that sweet, glorious filling before now, but it turns out it’s super easy to make! There are so many delicious desserts you could create with this filling, but sandwiching it between two fresh, delicious chocolate cookies is definitely the way to go! So get to baking and you can have these creme egg cookies ready in no time!

Peanut Butter Pumpkin Sweet Potato Pupcakes

Peanut Butter Pumpkin Sweet Potato Pupcakes stacked on top of a gold wire rack on top of a marbled surface

THIS POST CONTAINS DOG PHOTOS! I thought that might get your attention. My dog, Gizmo, has a birthday coming up at the end of the month. I love to celebrate his birthday by spoiling him with special birthday treats, most often homemade cupcakes, which I like to refer to as pupcakes! There are so many different dog-friendly cupcakes (though always check with your vet before giving your dog people-foods) and my dogs like them all. This particular recipe is for Peanut Butter Pumpkin Sweet Potato Pupcakes.

Pumpkin Chai Bread and the Boston Book Festival

Pumpkin Chai Bread

I made this amazing, delicious Pumpkin Chai Bread with Cream Cheese Frosting, and I’ll be sharing the recipe with you at the end of this post, but first I want to tell you a bit about my Saturday morning.  I’d love for you to stick around and read about it, but if you’re just here for the recipe you know where to find it!

Pumpkin Chai Bread Batter

Yesterday morning I had the opportunity to listen to a panel at the Boston Book Festival that consisted of Stella Parks from BraveTart and Serious Eats, Karen Akunowicz from Myers+Chang and Top Chef, and Joanne Chang from Myers+Chang and Flour Bakery.  Each of these women have impacted my life in different ways, and seeing them all come together in one panel was a truly amazing experience.

I decided I needed to build my tolerance to spice because I am missing out on so many amazing foods and flavors by avoiding it.

Flufforeo: Fluff Centennial

Oreos in front of Christmas tree

Last year I discovered that Marshmallow Fluff is from Somerville, a city right outside of Boston, and that every year Somerville has a Fluff Festival. I also found out that this festival has a baking contest, so of course I have to enter.  If you didn’t see my entry from last year, I made these.
