It’s the week between Christmas and New Year’s and I have lost all track of time and days. We spent our Christmas at Getaway House and it was so refreshing to just disconnect and do nothing for a couple of days. If you have a Getaway anywhere near you, I can’t recommend it enough. I’m so excited to start planning for 2019 (and as I write this, I realize that I’m very far behind since I’m just now starting to plan…) and to bring you more easy and delicious recipes to impress your friends and families with as few dishes and as little work as possible!
We’re right in the midst of the chaos that is the holiday season! It is such a fun time of year, but I always feel like I’m falling behind on everything! Last summer I was inspired me to develop some fun fudge flavors and I was struck with the idea of creating fudges in ice cream flavors.
I started with a Cookies ’n Creme flavor. The key to perfecting the creaminess of this flavor is using vanilla candy coating and not white chocolate. Do you guys watch Scandal? I discovered it mid-Season 3 and immediately binge-watched the first two seasons on Netflix (I think I got through them all in, like, 2 weeks) and impatiently waited for the third season to be available for binging. Once I caught up, I watched weekly…religiously. I could not get enough.
