Dessert Nachos

Dessert Nachos - Plate of chips covered in chocolate, caramel, coconut, and m&ms

This past weekend my Super Bowl dreams were shattered. As a Titans fan, it felt like this could have been the year! Unfortunately, two teams will be going to the Super Bowl, and neither of them will be mine. I will be there for the commercials, a good game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, and obviously, (and most importantly) the snacks. I’m really glad I tested these dessert nachos over the weekend because I ate the entire plate to ease my pain of the Titans’ loss. Well, they say March comes in like a lion, and it sure does! That Nor’easter hit Boston hard.  We didn’t get any snow here, but we got a lot of rain and wind and there was a lot of flooding.  I’m holding out hope that it only goes up from here.  March means it’s almost spring. (I also love watching Adam Rippon’s skating, obvz.) What are your favorite Olympic events?  What do you think of the one where they look like flying squirrels?! Continue Reading

Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate

Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate

Even though hygge became trendy in the U.S. a few years back, my husband somehow just discovered it this year. And as soon as he discovered it, he decided 2018 is our year to fully embrace it!  We bought some string lights during our holiday decoration shopping to hang on our exposed brick wall and we’ve decided to leave them up all year for the ambiance! I’ve also always been a candle person, but he’s way more into burning them now.  We’re only two weeks in, but I’m loving it!
