Happy summer! I am so glad summer is finally here. My favorite thing about summer is the abundance of fruit. I get so burnt out on apples in the fall and winter, so when the bright, colorful fruits start popping up I get so excited. One of my favorite summer flavors is peach.
I created this cupcake a few years back for a good friend’s birthday. Her favorite beverage is a bourbon peach sweet tea (I’m from the south!) and I decided to recreate that drink as a cupcake. Continue Reading
So I know these National food days get out of hand, but bear with me here. Sunday is National German Chocolate Cake. It’s also my dad’s birthday. And German Chocolate Cake is his favorite cake. The day before Derby is known as Oaks Day, and the Oaks race is the big race for female horses. People get all done up in lots of pink, and there’s a big fashion show, and it’s a super fun day!
