Here in Boston we’re expecting our third nor’easter in a row this week. The first one was all rain, the next one was a few inches of snow, so who knows what to expect this week! One of the best coffee shop beverages I ever had was a Coconut Cream Mocha. I love coconut and I love the combination of coconut and chocolate. The coconut flavor was so strong and I loved it. I later learned that the strength of the flavor came from a coconut-flavored syrup, but there is still something so appealing about coconut cream. Even though it doesn’t bring a strong coconut flavor, I love that it adds just a hint of it. Continue Reading

My family is Jewish so I never got Easter baskets as a child, but I always LOVED Easter candy. Still do! My favorites have always been Cadbury Creme Eggs and Cadbury Mini Eggs. THE. BEST. Unfortunately, the timing of Easter often coincides with Passover and the Passover dietary laws prohibit Easter candy…okay, not specifically Easter candy, but corn syrup is a no-no. Not only can you not eat it, but you can’t even have it in your house.
