- 9" unbaked deep dish pie crust or a 10" standard pie crust
- 3 eggs
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup flour
- ¼ cup bourbon
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ½ stick butter melted and cooled
- 1 cup chocolate chips plus a little extra for topping
- ½ cup crushed pecans
Preheat oven to 350° F. Place pie crust (in pie pan) on baking sheet.
Whisk together eggs, sugar, flour, bourbon, maple syrup, and butter till combined.
Fold in chocolate chips and pecans.
Pour into pie crust.
Sprinkle a handful of chocolate chips over the top of the filling.
Bake about 40-45 minutes, till the filling is just barely set.
Enjoy warm with ice cream or room temperature.
Place the pie dish on a baking sheet to bake. This will catch any potential overflow.
