Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup grits
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt Diamond Crystal
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup + 2 tablespoons sugar
  • toppings optional

Instructions

  • Prepare grits according to directions.
  • Once done, remove from heat and stir in butter, salt, cocoa power, and sugar.
  • Serve warm with desired toppings.
