Hot Cocoa Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups hot cocoa powder
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt Diamond Crystal
  • ½ stick butter
  • 5 oz evaporated milk
  • 7.5 oz jar of fluff
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla can substitute marshmallow or whipped cream vodka here
  • 12 oz marshmallow or vanilla melts

Instructions

  • Line 8x8 pan with nonstick foil
  • Mix sugar, cocoa, salt, butter, milk, and fluff in a large saucepan
  • Heat over low heat, stirring till blended, then increase to medium heat bringing to a boil
  • Stir constantly for 5 minutes - the cocoa will burn to the bottom of the pan if you don't keep stirring - stir, stir, stir!
  • After 5 minutes, remove from heat and stir in vanilla (or vodka) and melts until melts are melted and smooth
  • Pour into pan and refrigerate for at least hours
  • Once chilled, cut into pieces
