Spiced No Yeast Beer Bread

A combination of cinnamon and IPA creates a moist and delicious loaf bursting with flavor.

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • silicone spatula
  • loaf pan (or cupcake pan)

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup IPA R&H Beer
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt Diamond Crystal
  • 2 teaspoons cassia or cinnamon Curio spice
  • 2 cups flour

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • Grease a mini loaf pan.
  • Beat butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs and mix.
  • Add IPA and mix.
  • Add baking soda, baking powder, cassia or cinnamon, and salt, and mix.
  • Add flour and mix until just combined.
  • Fill each cup in mini loaf pan or cupcake pan about ¾ full.
  • Bake 20-30 minutes.
  • Cool 15 minutes and enjoy!

Notes

This bake time is based on a mini loaf pan, but you can make this in a full-size loaf pan too. Just be sure to increase the bake time accordingly!
Once you add the flour, you want to mix the batter as little as possible while making sure the flour gets fully incorporated.
